Primo quality diamonds are the most beautiful and shining diamonds, accounting for only about 0.0001% of all diamonds.
The brilliance of a diamond can be categorized into three types: the “rainbow-like sparkle” created by the prism effect, the “bright white glow” from internal reflections, and the “scintillating shimmer” from surface reflections. While the intensity of each type can vary, I-PRIMO exclusively selects diamonds that achieve the most beautiful balance of all three. These diamonds, meeting our Primo Quality standard, are exceptionally rare—found in just 0.0001% of cases—and offer a truly special brilliance.

Among the 4C criteria, the “cut” quality is the most important for enhancing and showcasing a diamond’s brilliance. The proportions of a diamond are precisely measured, and even the slightest deviation in the dimensions or angles of each part can prevent the diamond from reflecting light beautifully. At I-PRIMO, we use center diamonds that are graded “3Excellent” in proportions, symmetry, and polish— the highest cut rating. Additionally, we set stricter standards than the usual numerical range for the “ideal proportions that produce the most beautiful reflections,” ensuring the highest quality diamonds.

“Hearts & Arrows” in Every Diamond
When you look through a specialized scope at an I-PRIMO diamond, you can see a Cupid’s arrow from the top and a beautiful, plump heart pattern from the bottom. The “Hearts & Arrows” effect, created by the precise reflection of light within the diamond, is proof of a cut that maximizes its brilliance. At I-PRIMO, we use diamonds that display the “Hearts & Arrows” pattern not only for the center diamonds of engagement rings but even for the smallest diamonds, as tiny as 1mm in diameter, used in wedding rings. We are committed to maintaining the highest quality in every detail.

Unlike the typical route of purchasing pre-cut diamonds, I-PRIMO collaborates with polishing factories to supervise the entire production process.
